In view of the current novel coronavirus situation, the revised admission procedures for S1 Discretionary Places are as follows:

因應新型冠狀病毒感染疫情的發展，本校中一「自行分配學位」申請程序將作以下修訂：

 

Cancellation of the first interview

With the health concerns of students and teachers, and to avoid crowds and transmission of the virus, the first interview will be cancelled.

取消第一階段面試

為保障面試同學及師生健康，避免人群聚集，第一階段面試將會取消。

 

Revised admission criteria and weightings

Due to the cancellation of the first interview, admission criteria and weightings have been revised.  With the consent of the Incorporated Management Committee, no fewer than 80 applicants will be shortlisted according to the admission criteria and scores of items 1 to 4 below, and will be invited to attend the second interview from 7 March (Saturday) onwards.  The interview shortlist, date, time and reporting venue will be released on the school website in late February.  Applicants are advised to check the school website regularly for any updates and announcements from the school.

修改收生準則及比重

由於第一階段面試取消，經法團校董會同意，學校將根據以下一至四項目收生準則及分數挑選不少於80名申請者進入第二階段面試。第二階段面試將於3月7日（星期六）開始進行，面試名單、日期、時間、報到地點將於二月下旬在本校網頁公佈。

Preventive measures against communicable diseases

1. All candidates and teachers should wear surgical masks.
2. All candidates are required to check their body temperature upon arrival.
3. The number of waiting areas for interview will be increased.
4. In the preparation room, candidates’ chairs and desks will be arranged in an appropriate distance.
5. During the interview, candidates and teachers will keep an appropriate distance.
6. Surgical masks, alcohol-based handrub and other sanitizing materials will be provided.

 

防禦措施安排

1. 所有考生及老師均需配戴口罩；
2. 進入校園時，所有考生需要量度體溫；
3. 增加等候面試場地數目；
4. 增加考生座位間距離；
5. 增加考生及老師面試時距離；
6. 學校將準備口罩、酒精搓手液等清潔消毒用品。

 

Deferment of notification of acceptance

According to the Education Bureau, the date for notifying parents of successful applicants of their children’s inclusion in the Successful List for Secondary One Discretionary Places will be extended from 31 March (Tuesday) to 7 April (Tuesday).  Parents of successful applicants will be notified by letter and phone.

延遲通知「自行分配學位正取名單」

根據教育局的指示，有關通知家長其子女納入「自行分配學位正取名單」的日期，將由原定的3月31日(星期二)延至4月7日(星期二)，屆時本校將透過書面及電話通知所有正取的家長。
