Starting from June 2022, the Sha Tau Kok Pier is open to the public and Liberal Studies Department participated one day tour for F5 students on 16 July to explore the restricted border zone in Hong Kong.  Besides, they took a ferry to view the beautiful islands in Double Haven and visited one of Hong Kong’s oldest, largest and best-preserved rural settlements in Lai Chi Wo which has gained a new lease of life as part of the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark and is now a popular destination for hikers and ecotourists.
