Our school's 49th Speech Day was successfully held on 4th December, 2021. Commenced with the national anthem and then the school hymn, the ceremony was conducted in an air of solemnity.
In her opening speech, Dr. Alice Yuk, BBS. J.P., the school supervisor, gave thanks to God's blessing for sustaining the school's remarkable achievements over the years, and commended the diligence and wisdom of the staff members. After that, this year's Guest of Honour, the Most Reverend Andrew Chan, who is also the Archbishop and Primate of HKSKH, presented the graduation certificates to all graduates and encouraged everyone to move on and keep an open mind so as to be flexible and accept other people's differences. Then, our School Principal, Mr. Cheng Hong Yung, delivered the principal's report, which was then followed by the Presentation of Scholarships to students who had made outstanding academic achievements or services. A few staff members also received the Long Services Souvenirs. After that, the audience heard the Votes of Thanks by two graduates who conveyed a gratitude towards parents and, especially the teachers who had strived to prepare them well for the DSE exam during the time of school suspension. The ceremony ended by a song performed by the school choir, Simple Gift, written by Mark Hayes.
