A cultural exchange session with our sister school in Japan, Junior High School Attached to Saga University Faculty of Education (佐賀大学教育学部附属中学校), was successfully held on 13th December, 2024. All Form 3 students participated in an afternoon assembly alongside their Japanese counterparts. The event began with welcoming speeches from our school principal and teacher representative from Japan, followed by presentations and performances from both schools.
The Japanese students were then invited to attend lessons in English, Chemistry, Mathematics, and General Education, where they experienced warm welcomes and joyful interactions with their peers. After the classes, they gathered in the Home Economics Room to enjoy dumplings prepared by our students. Each visitor also received souvenir sweets and chocolates made by our General Education class. The Japanese students expressed their excitement during the school tour, exploring the various facilities and amenities on campus.
In the evening, some of our students shared an enjoyable dinner with the Japanese teachers and students, exchanging stories about their school lives and leisure activities. The event concluded with a viewing of A Symphony of Lights at Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront. All students expressed that they would miss each other and look forward to meeting again in the near future.
