The 52nd Speech Day of SKH Lam Woo Memorial Secondary School took place on November 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony began with a National Flag Raising and the National Anthem, followed by a prayer led by Rev. Wu Wai Ho. Dr. Alice Yuk, the school supervisor, introduced the guest of honour, His Honour Judge Lee Hing Nin Clement, a District Judge of the HKSAR as well as an IMC member of the school.
Judge Lee inspired graduates by discussing the LAMWOOER values and encouraged them to strive for a better future, stating "the world is ready for you.”He presented an AI-generated song dedicated to the graduates, which delighted the audience. Following his speech, graduates received their certificates from Judge Lee.
Principal Cheng Hong Yung then reported on the academic year, highlighting events like the Summer Concert and international exchanges, as well as community service activities. He celebrated students' university placements and thanked parents and teachers for their support, emphasizing that "Once a LAMWOOER, always a LAMWOOER."
Scholarships and awards were presented, with special applause for students achieving top HKDSE results. Long Service Awards were also given to dedicated staff. Dr. Yuk then presented Judge Lee with a souvenir and entertained the audience with a singing performance. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by two graduates, expressing their gratitude to teachers and parents. The ceremony concluded with stunning musical performances, featuring the orchestra and the Mixed Voice Choir, leaving the audience inspired and entertained.
