On 22 April 2023, a group of F.1-5 students explored Mount Davis Fort on the westernmost hill of Hong Kong Island. They walked along the historical military trail to study existing war relics, including 9.2-inch naval guns, barracks and artillery batteries. As one of the important artillery depots for the British forces in the 20^th century, Mt. Davis was heavily bombed and shelled during the Battle of Hong Kong. Students were encouraged and inspired by the positive qualities and attributes shown in the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps.
