In order to enhance students' understanding of Hong Kong's history and culture, our History Department organized a guided tour to the Ex-Sham Shui Po Service Reservoir (Ex-SSPSR) on 6 March 2023. A group of F.1 and F.4 students had a close visit to the main scenic spots of this Grade I historic building and learnt to appreciate the beauty of its architectural structures, including granite piers, red brick arches, pavement light openings and ventilators, stilling wells and outlet pipes. It was a great learning opportunity to broaden students' horizons and to raise their awareness of heritage conservation in Hong Kong.
