
On 12 March 2025, a group of Lamwooers were excited to showcase their theatrical talents at Drama Fest 2425 at Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section). The event brought together an ensemble of passionate young performers and crew members who delivered a captivating production that left audiences reflecting on life's most profound questions.
This year's play centered around the story of a genius consumed by an insatiable obsession with knowledge. Through his journey, the audience was invited to weigh the sacrifices he makes and ponder what truly matters in life.
Thirteen talented cast members from Forms 1 to 4 took ownership of their characters, bringing them vividly to life on stage. Their dedication shone through every scene, earning applause from the captivated audience. Behind the scenes, a team of ten crew members from Forms 3 and 4 worked tirelessly to ensure seamless transitions, handling set changes and sound effects with precision and efficiency.
The hard work and talent of the participants were recognized during the awards ceremony, where Cheung Siu Ting (4E) was honored with the "Best Performer" award for his portrayal of Dorian, a key character. Additionally, the play earned the accolade of "Best Script," a testament to the depth and originality of the storyline.
