Our students actively participated in STEM competitions in programming, robotics, artificial intelligence, and IT knowledge during the second term of 2023/24. Through their great efforts, they consistently achieved excellent results in these competitions. Well done!

 

Programming

1. International Coding Elite Challenge 2023-24

3D Lo Yin Kwan achieved the Top Coder Award in the final event held on 11 May 2024. This challenge aims to provide students with opportunities to exchange ideas and deepen their coding experience.

 

 

2. JA Code for Impact Challenge 2024

Six students from Form 4 (4C Tsao Ho Chun, 4D So Lok Ying, 4D Chan Tsz Lok Andrew, 4D Cheung Yui Hei, 4E Cheung Chun To, and 4E Ng Cheuk Ting) participated in the JA Code for Impact Challenge on 4 May 2024. With their excellent design and presentation of their app "Step Up," they achieved Second Runner-up in the Challenge.


 

 

Artificial Intelligence

1. Greater Bay Area Artificial Intelligence Science and Innovation Competition 2023-2024

Four students from 3C (Chui Ho Kiu, Ng Hei Tsun, Wong Yin Ho Daniel, and Yu Wai Ming) participated in this competition on 19 July 2024. They won the Best Model Design Award.

 

2. Hong Kong Inter-school Formula AI Competition

5C Lo Tsz Tsun participated in Round 5 of the Hong Kong Inter-school Formula AI Competition on 11 May 2024, achieving First Runner-up in the overall results.

 

Robotics

1. Robotics Intelligence DIY 2024

Seven students participated in Robotics Intelligence DIY 2024 in May, showcasing their skills and problem-solving skills. Three students achieved outstanding results with a three-star award: 1A Li Sin Chit, 1B Tong Wing Kiu, and 1C Lau Kin Long. Two students, 2A Lam Yu and 2B Cheung Hoi Ting, earned a two-star award. Additionally, 2A Wong Pak Hei and 2B Ng Ascot Sheung Hei earned a one-star award.

 

2. FIRST® LEGO® League 2024

Six students from Form 3 (3A Cheung Yau Pok Harry, 3B Cheung Bok Sum, 3D Adachi Miki, 3D Cheung Siu Ting, 3D Lee Chun Yu Brandon, and 3D Lo Yin Kwan) participated in the FIRST® LEGO® League 2024 on 6 July 2024. They achieved Second Prize.

 

IT Knowledge

Our students actively participated in the Hong Kong IT Knowledge Online Quiz Contest 2024, with the final event held at IVE (Lee Wai Lee) on 6 July 2024. Our school achieved the Group Merit Award, while 3A Cheung Yau Pok Harry and 3A So Tsz Hin won the Gold Award and Silver Award, respectively.
