A group of F.3 students, Chan Nok Yiu (3D), Law Tsz Yan (3D), Ng Serene (3D) and Sam Hui Yin(3D) participated in the TENCON (IEEE region 10 conference) 2022 - Pre-University Student Forum organized by the IEEE (Hong Kong Region) and the Consumer Technology and Oceanic Engineering Societies (CTOES) Joint Chapter in Hong Kong.

They built a detection using image recognition in order to save babies from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).  They prepared an A0 size poster to report on their results and had a 15 minutes verbal presentation at the Forum at HKCEC. SIDS is a tragic situation and still not fully understood or sufficiently investigated. They have got distinction and won the Best Project Award and the Best Poster Award.
